How it works in LeadBolt

To start your video email campaign, you will first check your sender and trial allowance to understand your limits. After confirming these details, you will add a contact to your list. The next step involves uploading your video content, which is essential for your campaign. You will then create a personalized email template to accompany your video and choose your intended audience for the campaign. It is important to send a test email to ensure everything appears correctly before launching the campaign. Once tested, you can confidently launch your email and later review the results to assess engagement and delivery.

Start here — Your first video email campaign Welcome to LeadBolt. Let's build your first video email campaign on the Founder Trial, from adding a contact to reviewing results. We will send an introduction to one sample buyer. This is the real interface with isolated training data. Uploads, delivery, and engagement are simulated. 1 · Check your setup — Know your trial allowance Start in Email Marketing. The Founder Trial includes two video sends shared across your workspace for the entire trial. Each recipient uses one send, including in broadcasts and sequences. Tests to your own account do not use the allowance. We will choose one contact for this first campaign. 1 · Check your setup — Check the sender and reply address Open Settings and check the sender preview. Video emails use LeadBolt's sending address with your profile name. Replies go to your verified account email. Use Edit profile if your name needs correcting. This sample account is named Demo; yours should show the name your contacts recognize. 1 · Check your setup — Understand mailbox connections My Email Sending is for regular email. Each user connects their own Gmail or Outlook account for regular messages. Video emails continue to use LeadBolt's video sending domain. Connecting a mailbox does not sync incoming replies into LeadBolt, so check your reply inbox after sending. 2 · Add your contact — Start with one contact Open CRM and go to Contacts. If your contact already exists, check their name and email address. We are starting fresh, so choose Add Contact. Upload List is available for larger imports. A single contact makes your first trial campaign easier to check and keeps it within the allowance. 2 · Add your contact — Enter a name and email Enter the contact's name and email. We use Jordan Sample with a reserved example address. In your account, choose someone who opted in to these emails, or an inbox you control while learning. Select the appropriate lead type and source. A phone number is optional for this walkthrough. 2 · Add your contact — Review visibility and save Review visibility: Team contacts can be visible to admins and permitted team members; Private contacts are only visible to you. Check the lifecycle stage and agent assignment, then choose Create Lead. Saving the contact prepares it for selection. It does not send your campaign. 3 · Add your video — Open the video library Return to Email Marketing and open Videos. You can record here or upload an existing video. We will upload a short introduction. Keep yours simple: introduce yourself, explain how you can help, and ask the viewer to reply with one useful next step. 3 · Add your video — Upload and name the video Choose Upload Video and select your file. Supported formats include MP4, WebM, MOV, and AVI, up to five hundred megabytes. Give it a recognizable title. We are using, A quick hello from your agent. Review the file and title, then click Upload. 3 · Add your video — Wait for the video to be ready Allow processing to finish. Your video must be ready before it appears in the template picker. Processing is simulated here; larger files can take longer in your account. Check the title and thumbnail, and preview your actual video before sending it to anyone. 4 · Build the email — Create a reusable template Open Templates and choose Create Template. A template holds your subject, message, and selected video. Give it an internal name, such as First video introduction. This helps organize your library. The subject line is what your recipient will see in their inbox. 4 · Build the email — Attach your video Click Add Video and select the introduction you uploaded. Its title and thumbnail confirm the attachment. The video will be included whenever this template is sent. Remove it and choose again if needed. Uploading to the library alone does not attach a video to an email. 4 · Build the email — Write a clear subject Write a clear subject that explains why you are reaching out. We use the first-name variable followed by, a quick hello from your agent. LeadBolt uses that variable to personalize the subject. Check your contact's name and review the delivered version with a test. 4 · Build the email — Write the message in plain text Choose Plain Text to write without HTML. Keep the message conversational: introduce yourself, mention the video, and ask one simple question. Our example asks about the buyer's preferred neighborhood and timeline. Use the first-name variable in your greeting. The editor creates the email version as you type. 4 · Build the email — Preview, then save Open Preview to check the message and video thumbnail together. Look for typos, spacing, and a clear next step. Personalization placeholders may still appear here; check the delivered version with a test. When ready, choose Create Template. Saving does not send an email. 5 · Create the broadcast — Choose your template Save your template, then open Broadcasts and choose Create Broadcast. A broadcast is a one-time email campaign. Name it First video campaign and select your template. Sequences are for automated follow-up. For this first campaign, we will use one broadcast and one recipient. 5 · Create the broadcast — Select the intended recipient Under Choose leads, select Jordan Sample and check that the matched count is one. Avoid Select all unless you intend to email every visible contact. Lists and filters select contacts; they do not verify consent. Unsubscribed contacts are skipped, so matched and sent counts may differ. 5 · Create the broadcast — Save as a draft Leave Schedule empty to create a draft and test before launch. A future date and time schedules the broadcast, so use that only when your content and audience are ready. For now, click Create Broadcast. The new row should show Draft with one recipient. 6 · Test before sending — Send a self-test Click Test in the draft row. The test goes to your signed-in account, not the selected contact, and does not use your trial allowance. This action is simulated here. In your inbox, check the sender, reply address, subject, personalization, formatting, and video link before launching. 6 · Test before sending — Check the recipient experience Open the video link from your test email and check playback. This is the recipient viewing page with our sample video. The video opens on a page rather than playing inside the email. Use the sound control if muted, and check the experience on your phone too. 7 · Launch and follow up — Review the final confirmation Return to Broadcasts and choose Send now. Review the confirmation: template, video, recipient count, and remaining allowance. One recipient uses one video send. Cancel if anything is wrong. After sending starts, an email already in flight may finish even if you cancel remaining recipients. 7 · Launch and follow up — Send the campaign Confirm Send now when everything is correct. In your account, that starts delivery. Here, no email leaves the isolated training session. The simulated row shows Completed: one sent, zero skipped, zero failed. Completion describes processing. Review delivery and engagement separately before deciding how to follow up. 7 · Launch and follow up — Read the campaign results Open View analytics to inspect opens, clicks, video plays, and delivery results. These are simulated examples, not real engagement. In your account, activity can arrive later. An open or click is not proof that someone watched the whole video. Use the results to guide a useful follow-up. 7 · Launch and follow up — Check what remains Return to Settings. Our one-recipient campaign leaves one of two trial sends. The allowance is shared, so coordinate with teammates. Only the workspace owner manages the paid subscription. The paid Founder plan starts with ten video sends per billing period. Unused sends do not roll over. Ready for your first campaign — Your launch checklist Your first-campaign workflow is complete: check your sender, add an opted-in contact, upload a video, build a template, create a draft, test, and review before sending. After launch, check delivery and video activity, then follow up in your reply inbox. Start small and give your contact one clear next step.
